The timing is right to begin the public launch of NowHearUs with a dedication: Happy Birthday America! The USA is now 231 years and we’re still going strong. As the Founding Fathers wrote:
“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands, which have connected them with another, and to assume, among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”
” We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Even after all these years, the Declaration of Independence (and the U.S. Constitution) gives hope and courage to millions of people around the world. The signers of this historic document were not only amazing visionaries, but they also built the engine and set the wheels in motion for the most entrepreneurial land the world has ever seen.
And like the greatest entrepreneurs, the founders of the United States rebelled against the established order by undertaking a risky new venture. They seized upon new opportunities as they rewrote the rules in the process.George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Ben Franklin and company, exhibited innovative thinking, leadership, keen management ability and team-building skills that transformed their enterprise into a huge success.
